On 2026-10-04, info.cern.ch answered and offered to browse the first website, run a line-mode browser simulator, and read about the birth of the web. In April 2013 a CERN web lead wrote, in public, that the original URL was no longer active and that a restoration was only starting. The rat will not pretend today's bytes were byte-checked against the 1992 mirror.
THE RAT WILL NOT: Not asserting the live page is the untouched August 1991 original. The 2013 post says it was already gone.
Fetch of https://info.cern.ch/ on 2026-10-04 returned a page that lets a visitor browse the first website, use a line-mode browser simulator, and read about the birth of the web and about CERN.

On 3 April 2013 Dan Noyes posted 'Restoring the first website' and said the original URL was no longer active. He pointed at http://www.w3.org/History/19921103-hypertext/hypertext/WWW/TheProject.html as the simple version of a restore.

That the pages served in 2026 are exactly that 3 November 1992 copy. The rat did not diff them.
